Tony, Toni, Tone was dead wrong!!!!!

Not working right now really sucks but there is a silver lining. On a day like today I thank God I did't have to be on that freeway this morning.

Break from reality!!!

During this time of unemployment and search for the RIGHT job, one needs to take time off to get away from it all. So I took off to Vegas to help a friend entertain some friends from Ireland. Once we got there I was very disappointed with the room that we had at the Luxor, check out this view:

right into the wall. I don't know if it matters to you, but having a good view means everything to me. Anyways, we got there and right away it was off to the clubs. First stop LAX; very cool spot and the best part about it, I did not have to pay a cover. Everything was going good until we got kicked out for drinking(stealing) alcohol from the VIP section, I say they ain't drinking it all we might as well help them out, security saw it differently. Next stop was Coyote Ugly, this is a good place to get good funkin drunk, also a good place to watch DRUNKIN HOT GIRLS dance on a bar, and if you get lucky one may fall off. After that we went to Drais which had a 40 dollar cover, we weren't seeing that, so we ended the night in some hole in the wall. All in all that first night was awesome, even though we did get kicked out of LAX, it gave them a good story to tell.

The Hottie of the night award goes to...

Saturday night we went to JET. I have to say that this is the best club in VEGAS!!! Nice atmosphere and not alot of trendies in the house. We ended staying there the whole night.

Good trip but all good things come to an end. But if there is any good thing about leaving Vegas it has to be the views, just hope you don't have to drive back so you can enjoy it.

Is it morning yet?

It's time like these were we all have to remember one thing, IT IS ALWAYS DARKEST BEFORE THE DAWN. I have only heard from a few of my relatives who are in Louisiana; all of my family members were able to make it out in time before the Hurricane hit, for that I am truly thankful. But news out of our home town has not been so good. My Dad's mom lost the roof on her house and my aunt and uncle both lost their homes. I have not heard anything yet from my Mom's side of the family, we're praying for no more bad news and we are looking towards the DAWN.

Student Teacher Relations

I was watching E! this morning and there was this show about when teachers fall in love with there students and it got me thinking back to 6th grade. My science teacher was named Ms. Howe and DAMM if ya'll would of seen this teacher you would have fell in love also. She was like a PLAYBOY playmate, this is where my love for track and field started, running behind her was probably the only time I never got tired running the mile, and she had the fattest camel toe I've ever seen. I don't remember doing any work in that class because I was always daydream about her and I. If she had ever approached me in that way I would've kept my mouth shut, and let her done anything that she wanted. Now that I'm grown I wonder where the hell is she? Ms Howe, IM A MAN NOW!!!!

...even saw the lights of the Goodyear blimp and it said Stanly's a PIMP!!!!

Today was the first day being unemployed. Things feel really different when you don't have to go back to a job that you hated. I woke up this morning without that queasy stomach that always bothered me when I had to wake up so early. I had alot of things planned for today but I had to drive all the way to the IE to get my phone. This time around I'm gonna enjoy before I have to return back to that GRIND. Here's a little musical interpretation on how I felt this morning...

What don't kill me makes me stronger then before...

I had a pretty bad day yesterday but now its time to get back on track. I'm not gonna be bitter at anything or anybody; this could not have happened at a better time. I've learned my lesson and never again will I settle for less. My hopes and dreams are beginning to come true, I'm not there yet but I will get there. It's a celebration BITCHES!!!!!!

"Coloring"

I tell myself that I'm gonna try to write one of these everyday to keep the ideas flowing, but its like everytime I sit down, nothing come out(I didn't mean to make that sound like I was taking a shit). Back in the day before blogs I always had alot to say but there was no place to say it, no we have this wonderful invention called blogging but I have nothing to say. Thinking about today's date, I came up with something to write about. It has been one year since I've "Colored", now if you watched "Sex in the city" the movie, then you know what I'm talking about. Coloring never use to mean that much to me, it was just something that you did when you really felt like coloring and you had to act on that impulse, but since I've decided to stop coloring on my own, the act of coloring is something that I want to learn about. The first time I ever saw people coloring I knew that I wanted to color too, but when your a kid all you want to do is just color, there's no technique to it and there's no emotion behind it. So that's the main reason why I stopped coloring on my own because I felt like a kid when I was doing it and even when I colored with someone else it was the kid in me that wanted to color. Know that I'm a grown man I'm starting to find out that I want to color with someone and actually feel the love of coloring and I also want them to feel the same way. I know that my permanent coloring partner is out there, I just have to find her, and the only way that I can find her is to re-discover the art of coloring. I'll let you guys know when I find her.

2 years...

I don't like to think about it, because if I do it will come even faster. In 2 years (technically 1 year 6 months) I will be 30 years old, where the hell did it all go? All the things that I was suppose to accomplish when I was 18 has not happened yet. I'm not the famous actor, nor director, and screenwriter, and I'm not yet married with chern (I'm actually happy that that last one has not yet had a chance to happen). The only that I have been able to do is graduate from collage, at least there's something to be proud of. I'm not disappointed that any of those things have not yet happened for me, I am more disappointed in myself for not working hard enough to make those things happen. I let to many non-factors get in the way, I worried so much about keeping a job that I hated, I evidently let it take over my life, I started feeling sorry for myself, and I thought there was no way out and I let myself believe that my life was over. Not keeping my eyes on the road ahead let apathy set in, and apathy leads to death for anyone's dreams. I realized all of this last night while talking to a friend, we were both talking about how fucked up our lives were because of our jobs, I was trying to get her to understand that it's not over for us we can still make things happen for us as long as we stay committed to our goals, and while telling her this I unleashed some wisdom on to myself. I have given up on everything that I've wanted to do, my film, my writing, finding the perfect women for me. Apathy is a MOTHERFUCKER!!!! The first thing that I'm adding to my list of changes is to stay committed and to re-commit myself to all the things that I wanted and still want to do with my life.

Hopes this helps anybody who reads it.

Peace and LOVE.

Thank You...

Due to our lagging economy I have the day off and every other friday until further notice. I don’t know wather to be overjoyed or a little bit concerned, but at this present time I just decided to enjoy it while its here, things could be worse.

Anytime I have a day off I always think about changing my life in one way. Its always fun to entertain ideas on what I can start to do differently, of course I never change in anyway, then its back to the grind of my normal life. Now I’m starting to realize that it is time for things to change, I’m two years away from 30 and I have yet to really live my life. So what am I gonna do? So I wont quit on changes to quickly I’m gonna start small; I’m gonna create a list on the things that I want to change about myself and also a list on the things that I want to do. By doing this I hope to at least keep my mind on the changes and not let the events of the normalness of life bring me down. So what’s gonna be on my list? I don’t know yet, but thank God I have a day off to figure it out.

I’ll keep ya posted
